i think my idea generation is improving, i think this is down to researching more and looking at designers work and things around me for ideas

What approaches to/methods of research have you developed and how have they informed your design development process?
research was a large quantity of the 100 brief, i learnt new ways of gathering research in the form of photo's, objects, facts and opinions. it helped me a lot with my project as i had so much information behind me.

What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these?

I have identified a skill in my generation of ideas, i think the concept of my projects are really good its just the skills in crafting that let me down. I think my research is also quite strong and backs up the development of my projects.

What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these more fully?

Identify five things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these?
1. Manage my time effectively and include time i must spend on food shopping, cleaning etc in my plans so i know exactly how much time i have for my work so i can then plan my project accordingly.
2. Generate an array of ideas so i can use crits effectively to chose a final idea.
3. Make my final piece look professional by making full use of print room, milling machine and materials used.
4. Keep upto date with sketchbook and research/ investigate my ideas fully recording all research on Design Context blog.
5. Talk to tutors about problems that may occur before it is too late to help my work.

Are there any things we could have done differently that would have benefitted your progress?
