Kiosk is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by former Designers Republic
senior designer, David Bailey. We're based in Sheffield UK and work with like-minded collaborators remotely worldwide. Our clients range from large media/music companies (Conde Naste, GCI London, Ministry of Sound, Nickelodeon, Universal, Warner Music),
to smaller arts independents (Axis, Dance4, FutureEverything, Sheffield Contemporary Art Forum, 2020Vision Recordings)

About David

David Bailey was born in South Yorkshire in 1970. Time passed...
By 1993 he was a well travelled skateboarder who had returned to his native Sheffield.
Whilst producing fanzines, club nights and running a skate shop, David met Ian Anderson
and went on to become a key member of his Designers Republic, (1997 — 2005).
An eight-year-itch forced the leap to independence, and thus... Let's Kiosk!


 
 I love their work but I don't think I'd be suited to this as its not retail orientated, they really are a talented bunch but unfortunately I don't think I'd have much to offer them :(

Interesting.

Also in our pile of nice projects is this box which we received in the post with a horeshoe graphic on the top. On opening the box, it turns out not to contain a horseshoe, but a nice photographic print of a horseshoe (see below) - and a whole heap of prints stacked underneath it of other imagery, mostly portraits, shot by photographer Alex Telfer as part of his series of images entitled The Travellers. Wonderful stuff.


I'd love to send out a little package with some work in and a few suprises... I love the personal touch of receiving something through the post that they can pick up, feel and get a sense of who you are! Pdf's are very common things.

Contact Card

Illustrator David Janes sent us a little box full of old fashioned record cards with a personalised note to CR editor, Patrick, on one – and a pen illustration on each of the others of a political figure of some sort along with either an asinine quote by the person depicted or some witty anecdote about something silly they did or said...
